Originally formed October 2, 1979, by Steven L. Burden, as a sole proprietorship. Incorporated in the State of Texas as Steve Burden Inc., d.b.a. SBAC on March 26, 1980. February 1982-2008, SBAC acquired and moved to 330 Bedford Street in Dallas, Texas, which consists of 1800 square feet of office and a 3600 square feet warehouse/shop area. In April 2008, SBAC acquired and moved to our offices to 2313 Executive Drive in Garland, Texas.
SBAC began as an 80% commercial and 20% residential HVAC Service Company. Scope of work included mechanical system startup and maintenance on multi-story office buildings and residential service. Specializing in commercial office and manufacturing/production plant service. In 1985, SBAC became the factory authorized Service Company for Cincinnati SubZero (environmental test chambers) for North Texas. By 1998 our service mix consisted of 40% Environmental/test chambers; 12% Laboratory equipment; 35% Commercial HVAC; and 13% Residential HVAC. By 2010 our service mix had become 95% Environmental/test chambers and 5% Laboratory Equipment.
